Cummins Generator Technologies (CGT) require a dedicated Global Freight and Shipping Coordinator to join their professional team so they will continue to provide an outstanding reputation for innovation, quality, performance and reliability. Built on over 70 years of expertise and supplying some 3,000 OEMs and utility customers worldwide, CGT is a highly respected international company and an acknowledged leader in global power systems supply. We are now seeking a highly experienced Global Freight & Shipping Co-coordinator to join the Logistics team. Duties include:
• Global Freight Rate analysis, forecasting and administration
• Consignment tracking and KPI reporting
• New carrier introduction supervision
• Liaison with internal and external customers
• Coordinate and lead reviews and meetings
• Lead and participate in improvement initiatives and projects
• Provide consistent support to global manufacturing and distribution sites
The Freight & Shipping Coordinator should ideally be educated to Degree level or equivalent and ideally also have exposure to Six Sigma. You should also have demonstrable experience in international shipping, in both export and import and be able to support manufacturing and distribution facilities in approximately ten countries. All applicants should also be PC literate, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint and have demonstrable analytical and interpersonal skills. You should also be able to demonstrate a desire to progress and succeed, be able to work as part of a team and work both independently and show you work well as part of a team. This is an ideal role for the successful individual to establish their expertise and grow their career within Cummins.
