Capital IQ, a division of Standard & Poor’s, is a dynamic, growing financial software company. We're seeking an entry-level GlobalEnterprise Solutions Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you’ll:
·Collaborate with sales teams to tailor Capital IQ solutions to the needs of our clients
·Design and execute enterprise-scale deployments of Capital IQ software and services
·Serve as a primary technical point of contact for our most important clients
·Develop and maintain support tools to improve the client experience
·Provide technical and organizational leadership to our global support teams
·Analyze patterns of client issues and work to implement long-term solutions
·Make significant contributions at every stage of the software development process
What we’re looking for:
·A university graduate or equivalent
·A patient, analytical problem solver with a “can do” attitude
·Exceptional written and oral communication skills
·Some experience with or significant exposure to all of the following:
oSoftware development
oSystems administration and scripting
oComputer networking concepts
oMS Office, especially Excel
·Experience with any of the following would be a plus:
oInteracting with customers, especially in a technical role
oTeaching or tutoring
