Grid Connections Manager (Offshore)
Urgently required to join a global energy regeneration developer!
Our client, a key player in the renewable energy market is urgently seeking a Grids Connection Manager (ideally to be based offshore) and work within their dedicated offshore development team.
With increased demands and opportunities in this growing market, the Grid Connections Manager will be responsible for all grid connection matters throughout the pre-construction phases of offshore renewable energy wind and marine projects.
This is a specific role that would require a Grid Connections Manager who is degree qualified in a related discipline such as electrical engineering or the candidate must have a proven track record of commercial experience and technical expertise at a distribution or transmission level of generation system grid connections.
While knowledge of the wind industry would be preferred, it is not essential. However, the Grid Connections Manager must have excellent communication, presentation and written skills, and working knowledge of UK Grid connection regulations and / or legislation.
