Job Description :  This award winning digital advertising agency are looking for a Senior Group Account Director. You will the account by being dedicated to its successful management and growth as the person responsible for the overall client relationship.

The primary focus is to develop strong relationships with the senior clients, avoiding getting too sucked into the operational side of the business so as to be in a position to problem solve, quality control and forward plan.

Successful leadership of the account requires you to strike a balance between being aware of everything going on and getting stuck in when needed, whilst being sufficiently distanced from firefighting on day to day projects to have the thinking space and impartiality to lead and resolve issues effectively. It requires that a GAD is able to combine excellent client service skills with strategic and commercial nouse based on a solid understanding of the needs of the Client and Agency business. Key to this is spending time with the client in their offices.

Whilst the GAD role has varied requirements, all require first and foremost the confidence, leadership and responsibility for making the right decisions. Whether setting up the optimal team structure, negotiating remuneration to ensure the account is consistently profitable, or securing the best agency resource, it's the GAD who consults the team or client and then makes the call on the best course of action.

A GAD's ability to deliver excellent client service relies in large measure upon their applying this confidence and leadership to relationships internally. Both with their Account Team with whom they should foster a trusting and open team dynamic, and with key partners within other departments to ensure the account objectives and requirements are understood.

Key experience needed includes:

- Digital creative agency background
- Experience working on a business-to-business account
- Experience working on campaigns covering the spectrum of the digital opportunity: digital advertising, mobile, digital outdoor, websites, e-CRM and social content
- Telecoms experience a bonus
- Good track record demonstrating an understanding of brands and brand strategy
- Confident overseeing multiple projects with a complex client organisation / multi-stakeholder environment.
- Great organiser with strong finance and administration skills to complement strategic and creative skills.
- Confident in dealing with digitally inexperienced clients
- Should be knowledgeable and excited by the potential of digital
