46016372 Group Financial Accountant East Anglia £40000 to £45000 per annum Permanent jobs Updated 23/11/2009 18:42 Job Role A perfect opportunity for a recently qualified ACA or equivalent accountant to work in a high profile role in this leading Cambridge employer.Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the position is responsible for the following key tasks:
- Managing the half-year & annual statutory consolidation & the production of the annual report.
- Manage IFRS-based financial reporting on a group-wide basis & will produce the monthly group consolidation & group management accounts for board review.
- Lead the group-wide internal audit programme which will involve international travel, potentially up to 20 days annually.
- Responsibility for preparing annual tax returns for a number of UK based companies and working with the Group FC on Group tax pro
For the Group Financial Accountant role our client is looking for a preferably Big 4 trained ACA or equivalent qualified accountant.
