Group Financial Controller - West Surrey
This is an exciting opportunity to join an international group, taking control of the day to day fiscal requirements, whilst adding value to the operational direction of the business.
Reporting to the CFO, your role will involve managing all aspects of the group's finance & accounting function. It is expected that you will act as FD designate and will be responsible for developing a rounded, effective, commercial finance team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Management of the finance team;
- Completion of the Board reports ;
- Statutory reporting for the group and the complex international consolidations;
- All aspects of technical accounting including IFRS reporting;
- Preparation of monthly management accounts;
- Liaison with the Auditors;
- Involvement with Acquisitions and Due Diligence and subsequent integration;
- Developing systems and controls across the group;
- Reviewing legal and contractual documentation;
- Managing Project finance and cashflow;
- Ad-hoc projects as and when required;
To secure this role, it is expected that you will be a qualified accountant with relevant post qualification experience. You should be able to demonstrate a strong track record to date, international technical expertise and the ability to influence all levels within this developing global group.
