My Client is undergoing a concerted development program which aims to create a world class capability within its central team which can lead the organisation globally on a cultural and business development program which will result in a $1billion turnover innovative organisation which excels in the manufacturing space it operates within.
This innovative strategic plan is the vision of the high calibre CEO who joined the business in the middle of 2008. Central to the plan is the creation of a new dynamic leadership centre with an intellectually enabled, thought provoking and creative culture.
The new Head of PR & Marketing will be responsible for creating the brand identification which links each division and office around the world. This should include a high calibre web communication tool which projects fully the businesses position as marker leaders within each of their sectors. Every office, in every country, every communication contact point with customers in each sector should reflect a consistent brand identity.
The business is divided into four main sections, one of the divisions supply into leading organisations globally has a step change innovation which is capable of transforming a business product proposition. A key aspect of this role will be using marketing tools like the internet and also creating media relationships to get the level of market exposure that will start to create visibility and discussion about this exciting new innovation.
You will also need to have a high level of communication skills both written and verbal. You will need strength around creative writing and have the ability to build a network of contacts which achieve maximum PR exposure in order to promote the business and its message.
The company operates to PLC standards within a fairly complex, technical manufacturing environment, the ability to absorb such information and not be phased by this will be important.

To fully fit in you will need a high level of intellect, have a quality degree which is ideally supported by a second tier qualification such as a Masters.
