A senior executive and ‘change agent’ of the very highest calibre with clear CEO / PLC Main Board potential to transform and grow a large, complex business (1400 staff / £200m P&L) within the dynamic and richly rewarding educational ICT sector.

RM’s largest business division, ‘Learning Technologies’ encompasses end to end PC manufacturing and 3rd party product supply chains, software development, project and service management, implementation, consultancy, technical support and training. The diverse products and solutions reach thousands of educational establishments via a sizeable self contained sales & marketing force that promote single components to individual schools right through to bidding £50m+ managed service contracts with local / central government.
This represents an opportunity to make a very significant impact in a highly respected organisation. The right candidate could also potentially be appointed as a PLC Main Board Director.
The Individual
- Unambiguous leadership of sizeable multi-disciplinary, multi-national organisations (at least 750+ staff / £100m+ revenues) with full P&L as CEO, Board Director or Divisional MD.
- A 'change agent' from a sales & marketing / business strategy background with a flawless track record of delivering consistent profitability and growth challenging, high profile turnaround situations
- The clear potential for CEO / PLC Main Board responsibilities is mandatory.
- Graduate / MBA with high intellectual capability, considerable entrepreneurial spirit, drive and gravitas.
- Experience from most sectors will be considered and previous exposure to the IT industry isn’t a requirement
