Retail Products and Services sits within the Retail Banking Division. Its prime responsibility is delivery of the P&L targets of the main products distributed by the Retail Bank. The Savings and Investments Team has co-responsibility for the product P&L and liability targets, shared with the channels. The team leads development of the savings and investments product range; pricing, marketing and sales support to deliver stretching financial targets.
You’ll lead savings and Investments strategic planning, forecasting and performance, in conjunction with the head of for each of the businesses.
You will analyse and understand key drivers of Savings and Investments P&L and balance sheets and develop Savings strategic and financial plans across a 1 year and 3 year time scale. You’ll re-forecast savings and investments flows within the year, to drive channel incentive targets and treasury hedging decisions as well as tracking performance against strategic and financial plans. You’ll ensure delivery of projects to increase revenues driven from fees or to meet a customer or regulatory need.
Qualified to ACA or CIMA level with relevant experience in an analytical or consulting role, you’ll have experience of developing product and business strategies. Your strong communication skills will help you to synthesise complicated issues, structure arguments, and influence senior stakeholders. Your excellent analytical and problem solving skills will enable you to analyse data, think flexibly, identify issues and develop options using financial models. Previous knowledge of Savings/Financial services would be an advantage.
