RELOCATION TO DUBAI, £45-50K PER ANNUM, TAX FREE. Group Technical Manager. My client is seeking a Group Technical Manager for their leading Independent Industrial and Special Gases Company with its headquarters in Dubai, UAE. The Group Technical Manager will manage the Group’s Technical and Engineering functions, globally.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a minimum of 8-10 years working in a Technical, Operations or Engineering role in a Major International Gases company. Preferably be educated to degree level or an equivalent technical discipline, have a good understanding of current industry trends, legislative requirements, codes of practice and future anticipated requirements and be an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing.

This will include, but not be limited to:

·Ensuring all Group operations meet/exceed current legislative requirements and/or Best Industry Practice.

·Manage all Group SOPs, Technical & Quality Procedures and associated documentation and ISO 9001 implementation and reviews.

·Group Internal Auditing processes.

·Providing applicable technical support as required across all Group functions, including cylinder and cryogenic liquid container sourcing

·Providing Project Engineering support for Group projects.

The successful candidate will be given the scope to build, recruit for and manage his/her own team with required additional personnel and other resources, within the scope of the agreed business growth targets.

The role will be based in Dubai on an expatriate basis, with extensive International travel across the Groups current and future operating locations, as necessary.

The available financial package envisaged for the role will be:

• GBP 45-50K per annum, tax free
