For our department Group Reporting we are seeking to recruit an: Group Auditor Group Reporting is responsible for the group operational and financial reporting. Reporting is a direct product of the accounting organization and therefore works closely with other Group Finance functions to improve and optimize the reporting process and output. ASSIGNMENT: ? Maintain, review and develop the group Financial Manual, group dummy financial statements and group reporting package in accordance with Dutch GAAP/ IFRS and internal company policies: - Support and liaise with country finance organizations and other Group Finance functions for implementation of the group Financial Manual and to ensure appropriate harmonized group-wide financial reporting - Maintain, review and develop the group reporting package based on latest legal reporting requirements and regulations. - Provide support for analysis/ evaluation of financial accounting and reporting treatment under Dutch GAAP/ IFRS on acquisitions, mergers and structured investments to other Group Finance functions and country finance organizations - Follow up on relevant regulations' trends and support management with interpretations on latest financial accounting & reporting developments - Develop documentations and instructions on group financial reporting - Provide effective in-house trainings ? Perform financial control of subsidiaries for defined countries following internal company policies and guidelines: - Liaise with countries' financial reporting responsible to support the management and legal reporting process (Group Reporting country contact). - Review countries' legal reporting packages following defined reporting timelines, escalating the issues to country Accounting/ Finance managers for rectification follow up actions. - Monitor countries' bridge reports between management and legal reporting. ? Other tasks as assigned and special projects as defined in yearly Group Reporting action plan COMPETENCE: ? A bachelors/ masters degree in with emphasis on accounting or financial management. ? Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in one of Big4 public accounting firms and/or multinational real estate/ banking business (technical department experience a plus) ? Advanced knowledge of Dutch accounting standards and IFRS (accounting knowledge of financial instruments or commercial real estate and consolidation a plus) ? Fluent in oral and written English ? High level of energy, willingness to take initiative and responsibility and ability to work independently ? Strong analytical and research skills ? Demonstrate effective organization ? Excellent communication skills and ability to share knowledge and learning ? Ability to listen, influence and work in a team environment ? Cultural awareness and sensitivity ?
