HEAD OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT (DIGITAL AGENCY)
My client is a leading B2B brand and digital comms agency with an international presence. Their core concern revolves around developing, creating and nurturing brands via both online and offline methods. Through their meticulous efforts to provide a first class service they have achieved an unparalleled reputation and as a result they were awarded with the title of "2007's B2B agency of the year".
Currently, they are looking for a 'Head of Project Management' with experience of working in a digital agency. As the Head of Project Management you will be given a great deal of responsibility in that you will be leading, managing and developing the company's project delivery fuction. In addition to developing the project delivery funtion, as the Head of Project Management, you will; manage and develop the project management team, further embed and develop project management processes, lead the project planning and management of a wide range of projects including digital projects, video and social media. In addition to this, you will be accountable for; effective planning and resources, managing budgets, ensuring quality, and having the force of character to drive projects through to completion for client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate for the position of 'Head of Project Management' will:
- Have a solid knowledge of web technologies
- Have a solid knowledge of project management theory, Prince 2
- Have a good understanding of the client/agency relationship
- Have significant digital project management experience WITHIN A DIGITAL AGENCY
(ideally an integrated agency)
- Have proven project management experience
- Have a strong technical understanding of website technologies
- Be able to write functional specifications and plan work for the development team
- Have a sound understanding and appreciation of the complexities of delivering a range of digital projects.
Whilst this role of Head of Project Manager will provide you with the opportunity to develop your career within a leading agency role and build upon your digital agency and project management experience as a Head of Project Management, you will also be rewarded with a salary of up to £50K plus a discretionary annual bonus.
