Job Description :  One of the UK's leading FMCG organisations are looking for an HR Advisor (ER) from a manufacturing background to contribute towards the delivery of an employee relations service for the organisation that delivers business objectives, minimises risk and exposure, and balances these with reasonableness and fairness


As a HR Advisor - Employee Relations your main responsibilities will involve:
* Managing escalated cases regarding the company disciplinary and grievance procedures seeking support and guidance as necessary from the Case Manager.
* Delivering detailed evidence and background including audit trails and disciplinary notes, correspondence for Employment Tribunal defence work.
* Supporting end to end redundancy programmes once the business need has been identified with the relevant business partner.
* Maintaining an accurate and up to date ER log.
* Recognising opportunities to up-skill and coach line managers to be accountable for their own employee relations issues.
* Working with the Policy and Advisory Manager for policy development and deployment.
* Working closely to deliver policy updates to the business and Management Essentials toolkit.
As a HR Advisor - Employee Relations your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
* Experience in a HR Advisor role / HR Officer
* Employee policy experience, including development
* In depth awareness of all current and emerging employment legislation requirements which have a employment policy impact
* In depth understanding of best practice in HR procedure in the areas of: performance management, employee relations, dispute resolution.
* Experience of coaching line managers to develop capability.
* Competent in use of SAPHR
* Degree Calibre
* CIPD full or part qualified
