Amey, a leading service provider is looking to recruit a HR Business Manager to provide a comprehensive and ‘best practice’ Human Resource support and advisory service at operational level. Contribute to the human resource elements of mobilisations and de-mobilisations and related TUPE/IR challenges. Champion HR processes and procedures ‘in the field’ to ensure a consistent and transparent approach.

This 9month FTC covers both Northampton and Bradford contracts and the successful applicant will be expected to split their time 50/50 between the two.

Key requirements of this role include:

  • Proven HR generalist operating at manager level
  • Experience of working in a unionised environment
  • Working knowledge of TUPE
  • Experience of recruitment and selection at operative and junior/middle management levels
  • Experience in disciplinary and grievance challenges - ER Issues
  • CIPD qualified or working towards
  • High customer service focus
  • Excellent interpersonal and human relations abilities
  • High levels of flexibility and adaptability and ability to be mobile
  • Ability to project manage sensitive assignments
  • Strong team playing skills
  • Acts with the utmost integrity
  • IT literate
  • Track record of delivery
  • Happy with high level of travel
