Amey, a leading service provider is looking to recruit a HR Business Manager to provide a comprehensive and ‘best practice’ Human Resource support and advisory service at operational level. Contribute to the human resource elements of mobilisations and de-mobilisations and related TUPE/IR challenges. Champion HR processes and procedures ‘in the field’ to ensure a consistent and transparent approach.
This 9month FTC covers both Northampton and Bradford contracts and the successful applicant will be expected to split their time 50/50 between the two.
Key requirements of this role include:
- Proven HR generalist operating at manager level
- Experience of working in a unionised environment
- Working knowledge of TUPE
- Experience of recruitment and selection at operative and junior/middle management levels
- Experience in disciplinary and grievance challenges - ER Issues
- CIPD qualified or working towards
- High customer service focus
- Excellent interpersonal and human relations abilities
- High levels of flexibility and adaptability and ability to be mobile
- Ability to project manage sensitive assignments
- Strong team playing skills
- Acts with the utmost integrity
- IT literate
- Track record of delivery
- Happy with high level of travel
