Reporting into the Head of HR and supporting a business area of 1400 people (with a direct client group of c450 people) , this will be a challenging role for an HR professional keen to work in a fast-paced environment and requires a trouble-shooting approach.
The role will be a generalist position, with a particular focus on high risk/high profile employee relations issues, resource planning, talent /succession planning, performance management and identifying key learning and development needs. There will also be various projects to manage as part of the transformation programme for example enhancing internal communications and employee engagement. A major acquisition and de-merger has taken place, but there is currently little HR infrastructure to support the business therefore the individual will be comfortable with working in this environment whilst implementing new processes and policies with the support of a shared services administration.
You will be an experienced HR Business Partner who has had to influence senior stakeholders within a complex and fast-paced medium-large sized organisation (preferably FTSE 250). You will have worked on complex change projects including business restructuring and have a broad HR generalist skill set. The candidate's experience should include ideally TUPE work, Talent Management, Management Development, ER and Performance Management. The ability to work at pace within an evolving organisation is essential and a clear demonstration of career progression with strong leadership capabilities is key.
