Our client is looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join their team for three months to help with workload during a particularly exciting and busy time. As part of the HR team you will be responsible for delivering HR goals and best practice through the application of practical and professional HR expertise and work as a partner to the organisation to identify people issues proactively and to develop creative solutions that either resolve problems or add value.
Reporting into the Head of HR key responsibilities will include:-
- Building and maintaining relationships with managers to pro actively identify people issues and develop appropriate solutions
- Improving people management through challenging, advising and coaching managers
- Supporting people related processes, policies and procedures e.g. performance management, disciplinary and grievance, people development, job evaluation etc
- Supporting recruitment activity up to, and including managerial level
- Acting as a role model of the organisations values and behaviours
- Working with specialist HR providers to develop and improve existing HR policies, processes and procedures
- Managing TUPE transitions as required – (both in and out of the business)
- Assisting managers with the annual appraisal process
Knowledge, skills and experience required:-
- CIPD qualified with a proven track record in a similar role
- Broad generalist HR experience
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience of managing TUPE transitions (both in and out) to include all aspects of transition including due diligence, consultation, on-boarding and cultural change
- Experience of supporting company processes e.g. pay reviews and performance appraisals
- Ability to influence and persuade positively
- Recruitment experience
- Experience of working within a European wide organisation would be beneficial but is not essential
