An excellent position has become available to work as a HR Business Partner for a well known company in Huntingdon. The role will involve working in partnership with the business on all aspects of employee relations to promote an employer of choice ethic whilst ensuring that the operational needs of the business are met in a timely and efficient manner. Duties will include:
·Contribute to the development of the HR strategy
·Participate in the planning and implementation of company policies, processes and initiatives.
·Initiate and manage strategic projects designed to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the HR function i.e. retention, succession planning, career development etc.
·Act as an internal consultant and change agent to ensure cultural and organisational initiatives are understood and accepted.
·Work closely with the business area, assessing and responding to all HR issues or opportunities.
·Provide advice support and training to the senior management team in all aspects of HR including employment law, equal ops and other associated legislation.
·Provide a people and performance management consultancy service to the business.
·Conduct disciplinary, grievance and attendance review meetings with line managers, working in an advisory and supportive role.
·Work in partnership with Learning and Development to understand the ‘training related’ business needs and offer advise / expertise as required.
·To encourage, develop and coach HR Assistants
·Work with heads of departments to identify people issues and succession plans.
·Attend and participate in business meetings relevant to the area of responsibility.
Ideally you will be CIPD qualified and worked in a similar position. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills.
