There is now a rare and exciting opportunity to join a leading Retail business in West Yorkshire as a generalist HR Business Partner. This is a very demanding, fast paced business with industry leading people policies and a first class HR team. In your role you would have responsibility for the following:
- Shape and implement the HR agenda for your business area
- To provide a consultative service to managers and colleagues a designated client base and beyond
- Talent management
- Manage sickness and absence levels and maintain them at minimum levels
- Provide up to date and accurate employment law advice to senior colleagues and directors
- Assist in coaching andperformance management
- Coaching HR Advisors in the team

We are looking for a talented HRBusiness Partnerto join this thriving HR team. Previous experience of Retail would be advantageous as would the CIPD qualification. Candidates with exposure to retail, business services or professional services may also be suitable. You will be able to work productively on your own initiative and manage a hectic diary and work to tight business deadlines. You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels and be adaptable to change. The ability to balance strategic and operational work is essential.
