HR Consultant 12 month Contract, £30-35k + car allowance

Our client will consider candidates with strong HR experience coupled with knowledge of co-ordinating the implementation of bespoke HR software solutions internally.

JOB PURPOSE:

To deliver the HR and Change Management Implementation Service to Clients.This is achieved by assisting the Client in deploying Best Practise processes within their organisation resulting in the use of Manager and Employee Self Service.This role will focus either primarily on National account clients or primarily Major account clients dependent upon the business requirements.

KEY DUTIES/TASKS:

Consulting with the Client, understanding and creating within the application an HR Organisational Structure for the Client.

Consulting with the Client on various other key HR processes, and advise the Client on the use of application to support the new or existing processes.

Guiding the Client’s internal Change Agent through the Change Management methodology.

Supplying and customising for the Client a suite of materials to support the Change process.

Supporting the Client in communicating and managing the change across their organisation.

Collect and document learning points and opportunities for improvement that will allow the continuous development and enhancement of the HR and Change Management Service.

Contribute to the ongoing creation of documents, tutorials, and other materials to support the HR and Change Management methodology.

Manage meetings, facilitate workshops, deliver presentations, conduct individual and group training sessions.

Analyse and consult on processes and requirements, write reports, and manage projects within both internal and external contexts.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Computer literate, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Good working knowledge of HR legislation.

Good working knowledge or all generalist HR functions.

Understanding of the effective use of technology in HR and PR.

Working knowledge of Strategic and Operation HR Policies and Processes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Good general education up to A-level essential.

Professional HR qualification such as CIPD essential.

Degree level qualification will be advantageous.

Experience (4 years +)

HR process and strategy analysis and re-design.

Client facing role (internal or external).

HR departmental / administration.

Internal communication / delivery.

HR and Self Service applications.

Internal / External consulting.

Project Management (multiple projects at the same time).
