HR Manager £38,000-40,000 Part-time 3 days a week increasing to full-time from early 2010
Our client manages and delivers support services to both public and private sector clients, in particular facilities management , security, medical and environmental services. Due to the nature of their business they are constantly changing, bidding for and winning new contracts, and of course occasionally losing contracts too.They are looking for an HR Manager to provide particular expertise in supporting the TUPE of staff from a number of NHS trusts into this private sector company. This would involve working with one of the Group HR Managers, providing expert advice and guidance on the TUPE process, becoming involved in employee consultations and leading on employee communications
You will also be involved in liaising with trade unions to ensure a positive employment relations climate and a positive profile for the companyYou would also act as a source of expertise to local HR teams supporting negotiation and harmonisation of terms and conditions and supporting local staff-side negotiating arrangements, when required. In order to be successful in this role you are likely to be CIPD qualified and have significant experience of staff TUPE involving both the public and private sector, with particular experience with the NHS (Agenda for Change). You will be used to working with senior teams including Directors and will have experience of developing and reviewing policies, procedures and terms and conditions of employment in a unionised environment You will be commercially focused and be a motivated self-starter and ability to manage your own workload. Initially you will be working approx 3 days a week covering work in Lincolnshire area but will later also become involved in supporting the same type of project in Essex/Suffolk when you will be required to work full time.
This contract will initially be for 6 months but is very likely to be extended to at least 12 months.
