HR OFFICER - RETAIL LOGISTICS - FIXED TERM CONTRACT (MATERNITY COVER) - WAKEFIELD
My client is a successful and well-established UK wide high street retailer, currently looking to recruit a HR Officer to join their team on a Fixed term contract (for up to12 months) overseeing the HR function for their Logistics department.
Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will be Part CIPD qualified, or ideally fully qualified. Day to day responsibilities will primarily be a front line HR function with a particular emphasis on employee relations, conducting investigations and disciplinaries and handling grievances.
You will be responsible for the recruitment of all employees within the Logistics area, and managing sickness and absence and long-term sickness, ensuring best practice advice is provided to Logistics Managers on going. To train, motivate and develop the Logistics HR Administrator. Evaluate performance and ensure feedback is provided, both informally and formally on a regular basis.
