Oakleaf are currently partnering a niche business within the service sector with operations across the UK. With an enviable professional track record spanning over four decades, this business is a real success story, continuing to go from strength to strength. Following an exciting period of change, they are wishing to recruit a talented HR Officer to provide comprehensive support to a newly appointed HR Director. This is a true generalist role and applicants should feel confident in their ability to be the professional face of HR to a head count of circa.100 employees as this position will be the most senior HR contact at their northern office.
Key accountabilities will include:
*Full cycle recruitment for a growing work force; co-ordinating all group vacancies
*Handing all ER related queries and providing comprehensive advice and guidance to Team Leaders and employees
*Working closely with the Training Manager to co-ordinate all training activity as well as managing the company induction to all new starters within an allocated time frame
*Full involvement in lots of exciting projects covering Performance Management, Reward and Change Management. This will require the appointed applicant to be relatively flexible and be able to travel to London as and when required
*Providing support and training to a HR Assistant
The preferred candidate will be CIPD qualified or working towards and able to demonstrate significant experience of all of the responsibilities listed above. Due to the nature of the business, applicants should ideally have had exposure to a financial services or a contact centre environment and should preferably have a strong academic background.
