Job Role

Due to an unprecedented period of change and modernisation our client has new role for an HR Operations Manager. Working as part of a wider HR department you will be responsible for leading and managing the HR Management Operations Team to deliver an outstanding customer focused shared operational HR service. Specifically,the provision ofgeneralist HR advice, transactional and recruitment services and systems support.

The team will provide a full range of operational support, guidance and advice to managers on HR matters, this includes terms and conditions of service, employment law, performance management, absence management, dismissals, redeployment, redundancy, role evaluation, grievances and appeals. It will also provide advice and support to employees on matters relating to the
- MCIPD qualified or able to demonstrate equivalent substantial work experience;
- Senior operational Generalist HR experience in a unionised environment.
- Experience of leading, developing, coaching and managing a team of people to deliver a professional shared HR service. Skill in coaching, motivating and engagingHR Advisors to build their capability and confidence in advising and supporting business areas, deal with a range of people management issues, and deliver a processional customer focussed service;
- A proven record of successfully re-engineering customer focused and commercially astute business processes;
- Experience of setting, monitoring, reviewing and achieving HR Service Key Performance
