Agilent Technologies is a sleek, global, diversified technology company focused on high growth markets in the communications, electronics and life sciences industries.
The HR shared services center is looking for a proactive and motivated Representative to support UK and Ireland payrolls.
This team, centralized in Barcelona, is multicultural as we cover the payroll of all European countries.
We have fully managed services with an external payroll provider so your role consists in collecting, preparing and consolidating employees’ data from different sources (internal and external), send them to the provider for the payroll calculation. You will then use payroll output files to ensure salaries, payments to third parties (Tax Authorities, Social Security, Pension provider…) and accounting detail are accurate.
You are the central point of contact to support employees and to respond to third party, statutory, tax and compliance queries.
You will also coordinate implementation of global programs, business decision (acquisition, divestiture…) and new local legal payroll rules.
The responsibility, shared by 2 team members, covers a group of ~650 employees. You will work deeply with our HR representatives based in the UK.
Given the fact that we must ensure that payroll is paid accurately and timely we are looking for an organized person who demonstrates a sense of urgency and commitment to tasks.

About you
Qualification:
To be really successful in this job you preferably have a bachelor degree in business administration although a number oriented mindset and attached to detail capabilities are even more important. You bring demonstrated years of experience within a similar position and you are interested in bringing it to the next level.
You like the occasional stress while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities. It goes without saying that you have good MS office skills.
The language requirement for this position is native English.
