Job Role

Due to an unprecedented period of change and modernisation our client seeks an HR Policy, Planning & Reward Manager to reinvigorate the professional and administrative service functions.

Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Human Resource Management, you will lead and manage a small team to develop new HR policies, review and revise existing policies, produce and monitor implementation plans focused on HR initiatives, and undertake project planning and project management.Your team will own the organisations policies on Equality and Diversity for staff, and will champion Equality and Diversity initiatives with key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for the continuing development and implementation of reward and recognition initiatives including job evaluation,
- MCIPD qualified or able to demonstrate equivalent substantial work experience;
- Significant generalist HR management experience, including designing and implementing policies and applying a detailed knowledge of employment legislation to deliver business focused solutions. An up to date knowledge of Employment law and its application is essential;
- Experience of supporting and delivering business change, and change programmes, in a complex and unionised organisation; utilising leading edge HR services, principles and techniques, with a clear understanding of their associated issues and application.
