The exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading independent recruitment agency in Reading City Centre to head up their HR recruitment division. You will have immediate access to clients from other divisions on the business as well as lapsed clients to network with from day one.As a recruitment professional you will appreciate an autonomous environment where your consultative recruitment skills work well in line with your market sector.

Placing HR professionals throughout the Thames Valley and Oxfordshire at all levels you will have current exposure to a network of HR contacts and a contact base to plug into to help you build your division. You will be given realistic targets to develop your business based on current climate, however, you will have the focus and drive to overachieve and see the benefit of recruiting the right HR people at such a time. Your aim will be to place one to two candidates a month, therefore networking through quality service and not just numbers. You will also gain the benefit of plugging into the PSLs of the other divisions allowing you access to major blue chip clients with immediate requirements.

Commission is based on 25% of your billings (less threshold) and there is an additional annual bonus based on 5% of your total billings for the year on hitting your annual target. Basic salary will depend on current experience, the top end being paid to c£250k billers in a good market. In addition to this you will have access to private medical insurance, quarterly team incentives(meals at the Oxo Tower, weekends in Paris etc) and personal incentives based on the achievement of personal stretched targets.

You will have access to a resourcer, specialist print media and job boards essential to your market place for candidate attraction and have the support of knowledgeable Directors and mentors to support you in growing your division. If you are looking to grow in your career you will have the benefit of being the key point of contact for the HR division, therefore, your growth will allow the growth of the division with additional heads and the opportunity to grow your geographic coverage without splitting your client base for others.

To be considered for this role you will currently be an agency based HR recruiter in either interim, perm or dual desk recruitment at any level of HR. You will have exceptional relationship development and maintenance skills that are essential to growing your business. You will be a natural business developer who isn’t frightened of picking up the phone to sell and network – a likeable character who can fit into a lively yet professional team environment and flex your approach to fit the blue chip client base.
