As the High Voltage (HV) Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the HV and LV electrical plant and distribution network at 11kV up to 33kV. Other duties include being responsible for all aspects of safety, health and environment relevant to this role and ensuring the specified inspection and maintenance programme of work is delivered to a high standard.
To be considered you will need to have completed an electrical apprenticeship within a power distribution company, hold an ONC in electrical power or City and Guilds 232 and have strong working knowledge of electrical distribution networks.
You must also be authorised to switch on the HV/EHV systems, hold a full UK driving license, have thorough knowledge of the plant and equipment and be able to work to the company's inspection, maintenance and oil handling policies.
