Qualifying Criteria:
- Recognised beauty therapy or massage qualification — ESPA trained an advantage
- 2 years experience in a Head Therapist or Supervisory role.
- Previous experience in a hotel or Health Club/Spa environment.
- Strong therapist skills.
- Demonstrable leadership and organisational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proactive
- Highly motivated, customer service driven.
- Training experience.
- Has a confident, flexible and positive attitude
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all operational procedures, codes of conduct and standards of appearance by the company are adhered to by all staff.
- Maintain a high standard of treatments, cleanliness and motivation within the team.
- Assist the Spa & Recreation Manager in the recruitment, induction, development and appraisal of all Spa therapy staff.
- Responsible for the completion of the departmental objectives, through delegation to senior staff members and to meet the required deadlines
Assist with the budgeting process. Ensure that throughout the year appropriate business data is captured for use in future budgeting decisions.
Oversee the management, development and training of all staff within the department ensuring they reach their full potential through appropriate training, appraisal and multi-skilling / cross training.
Effectively communicate all company initiatives and values in a clear and professional manner, be it internally or externally
- Ensure all shifts are adequately staffed to meet the business demand
