You must have extensive knowledge and a proven track record of leading a successfulsolution & service orientated bid team, with hands-on experience of developing & writing complex solutions, achieving high win rates with quality outputs and strong client focus.
Key Accountabilities
- Successful positioning of QA capabilities, portfolio and services within customer centric solutions.
- Strategic input into formulation of QA propositions.
- Maintain strong awareness of learning market, of vendor landscape and customer requirements.
- Strategic leadership of bids and the bid team.
- Provide feedback, guidance and recommendations to sales and directors regarding wins and losses
- Ongoing development of standardised templates, service descriptions and company positioning statements. Setting and implementing departmental Best Practise.
- Management of bid submissions and of post bid submission activities.
- Ensure robust bid and authorisation processes exist, are well communicated and are wholly conformed to.
- Implement continual feedback mechanisms and use these to enhance quality, success and drive efficiency of the bid process.
- Achieve market leading win rates!
Experience & Qualifications Required
- Must have extensive experience and successful leadership of solution and services oriented bid teams.
- At least 5 years hands-on experience of bid writing with, with
- proven ability to develop and articulate complex customer oriented solutions.
- Track record of achieving quality results whilst demonstrating strong cost management.
- Experience of working with snr. management up to C level.
- A project management qualification (PRINCE2, PMI etc.).
- Ideally educated to degree level.
- Strong understanding of bid processes across a range of industries.
- Good awareness of the learning/training industry.
- Excellent knowledge of business requirements, processes and methodologies.
