A leading Chilled Food manufacturer known for product quality and continuous improvement at the forefront of their business strategy is currently seeking a Head of Engineering for circa a 12month Interim, this role may become permanent.
You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring the Engineering team into a cohesive and proactive unit.
You will ideally have a proven track record of Engineering Management within a fast paced food manufacturing environment.
Managing and controlling expenditure/CAPEX to stay within budget constraints.
Create and maintain an Engineering plan that is integrated with overall Manufacturing strategy, converting this into performance improvement plans.
A comprehensive understanding of maintenance engineering, facilities and utilities management and project, enabling the delivery of continuous performance improvement plans.
Ability to manage capital projects
A clear understanding of the manufacturing process affecting quality, service and efficiency. Ability to influence at Board level.
