Our client is a major European player within its field and seeks a Head of IT Project Delivery to provide IT leadership and management within the Group IT Project Delivery function. This is a dedicated Project Team providing professional Project Management support to the UK and European business responsible for managing the successful integration of external client systems into a shared service solution.
You will be responsible for your team establishing the scope and requirements for the project management service and for them taking ownership for the successful delivery of the integration of client sysyems.
You will need to ensure your team has the skills and knowledge to promote IT services to customers, that they build strong customer relationships, and that they operate commercially and maintain a strategic view of customers aims while ensuring a close alignment between the IT and business project management function.
Essentially, you will be able to form strong and effective relationships with customers and stakeholders, hold a passionate belief in the value of project management and consistently deliver high levels of service, be creative and have a common sense approach to evaluating alternatives, impacts and risks and the commercial and business benefits.
