Head of Planning Support - business process re-engineering: The Head of Planning can expect to become involved in the development of planning policies, processes and procedures that ensure activity, planning, progress and change in the operating and business environment is fully visible, analysed and understood. This urgent requirement requires a true ‘all rounder’ and candidates should demonstrate more than just a background in project planning. Direct involvement in a major business process re-engineering project with experience of behavioural change management techniques and practices would be ideal.
Head of Planning Support - business process re-engineering – Key areas:
-Implementing current and future systems to improve and streamline activities across the entire business, where appropriate added value is identified and agreed
-Participation in the development and implementation of SAP and Primavera tools within operations to support the overall integrated activity planning effort
-Provide integrated activity planning expertise and support to all departments and groups within the company as the needs are identified and interfaces developed
-Developing and maintaining Future Development Assumptions (FDA) activity plans and schedules.
Head of Planning Support - business process re-engineering – Qualifications:
-Outstanding academic record including a BSc in Engineering or equivalent, whilst a certification in Planning and Project Management will be looked upon favourably
-Comprehensive and long standing multi-discipline experience in the oil and gas industry with special emphasis on integrated activity planning and associated budget control.
-Direct involvement in delivering a major business process re-engineering project using knowledge and experience of behavioural change management practices and techniques
-History of leading, coaching and mentoring staff at all levels of seniority
-Computer literate with a sound knowledge of business software applications, SAP and Primavera systems.
