Head of Research and Customer Insight
- Job Description
Our client's are looking for a talented and experienced individual to manage and evolve their Research and Customer Insight service, delivering success through market-leading consultative, research, social media and analytical services.
This is a senior and client facing role and remuneration will reflect this.
You will be responsible for...
* Understanding client/internal business objectives and requirements and converting those into effective and profitable programmes of work.
* Working across the research, analytics, customer insight and social media teams to deliver high quality outputs to clients, including strategic direction and actionable insights.
* Pro-actively identifying opportunities to deliver value to clients and to the business through improved processes, tools and technologies.
* Managing and developing relationships with external suppliers and vendors of data, analysis and research products.
* Supporting the new business team with research/analytical solutions and market insight.
For this role, it is essential that you have:
* A qualification in mathematics, science or information systems (or related discipline)
* At least 3 years agency or client-side experience in a related role
* Strong research and analytical skills and experience; number-and data-literate
* Good presentation and communication skills
* Knowledge of a variety of web analytics/monitoring tools
* Knowledge of various automation and analytical techniques (Excel, SQL, VBA, SAS, SPSS)
* Experience of ROI models and campaign forecasting
* Literate and enthusiastic about online and social media
* Knowledge of the marketing and media sector
