Head of IT Business Systems - SAP:
With a portfolio of worldwide products and services, this global Oil and Gas business places great emphasis on –and relies upon- an exceptional IT system to support their business activity. The Head of IT Business Systems will work closely with the Head of Business Systems to contribute to the provision of guidance and leadership to a team of engineers.
Head of IT Business Systems – SAP – Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing SAP PS system for all operations group stakeholders
- Integrating business processes and procedures applicable to the operations group within the computer based SAP management system
- Budgetary responsibility for a technical team
- Integration of all SAP modules including SAP PS, PM, MM, HR and FI/CO
- Issuing system generated reports on a monthly basis reporting Capital and Projects progress
- Communication with members of the operations business team and with key internal and external interfaces
Head of IT Business Systems – SAP – Qualifications, skills, experience:
- It is critical that candidates must have had direct involvement in delivering a major business process re-engineering project, using knowledge and experience of behavioural change management practices and techniques
- Proven experience of leading, coaching and mentoring at all levels from direct planning reports to GM / VP level
- Comprehensive multidiscipline experience in the Oil and Gas industry across at least 4 of: corporate, asset, project, engineering design (FEED or detail or both), maintenance, well services, drilling, shutdown
- Broad experience in a leadership or supervisor role
- Outstanding academic pedigree including a BSc in Engineering, advanced degree in Business Administration or Computer Science and / or a professional certification in SAP
- In depth knowledge of SAP systems particularly PS and PM
- Computer literate with a good knowledge of business software applications and other SAP systems
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor other members of staff
