The Projects Business undertakes a wide variety of signalling renewal and other network enhancement projects on behalf of our primary Client, Network Rail. We are currently looking for a Head of Signalling Design to lead and develop our established team based in Birmingham.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a leader for up to 80 staff in our Birmingham Signalling Design office. The role involves day-to-day management of the office, providing design support to a wide portfolio of projects, predominantly major signalling renewals, but also including interlocking replacements, feasibility studies, minor works schemes and design consultancy. The Head of Signalling Design will actively contribute to the business unit's strategic objectives including innovation and staff development.
Requirements The applicant should have proven leadership experience from working UK signalling project delivery and will ideally have IRSE Licenses 6.8.100 (Engineering Manager) or 1.1.140 (Design Manager), or equivalent experience.
