An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this leading children’s charity’s Local Fundraising department in the new role of Head of Volunteer Development.
Managing a team of six you will be responsible for working with the Head of Local Fundraising to develop and deliver the Volunteer Strategy in Local Fundraising. You will work at a senior management level across a variety of Appeal departments to ensure that volunteer support is maximised across the organisation, also contributing to the charity’s wide policy and best practice on volunteering.
You will have an excellent knowledge and proven success in the development and delivery of volunteering programmes; and be familiar with sector trends in volunteering. Your will have experience in strategic planning and project management, demonstrating cross functional project management at a senior level.
You will have experience in collating, understanding and responding to complex data and developing feasibility studies. You will have experience of marketing campaigns and activities across an organisation to ensure income is maximised. You will have excellent communication skills and a proven track record of building successful relationships with senior level individuals.
