A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Health & Safety Manager to work for an M&E Utilities contractor based in the South West.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety on all sites, and will work remotely 2/3 days per week covering an area from the West to East coast (15 - 20 projects between £3k - £3m).

The candidate must have a good technical knowledge of CDM within this area but also have an understanding of the trade aspects also.

The candidate will also be responsible for the organisation and delivery of Health & Safety training to site operatives, Site Audits, Incident and Injury Reports, Environmental and Quality procedural control.

The candidate must be able to converse at a high level with clients, and also the company's external consultant.

You will be from a professional background, ideally with utilities experience, however civil engineering or construction backgrounds will also be considered.

You will ideally be degree qualified or equivalent (NVQ4 in H&S/NEBOSH Diploma) and be a Chartered member of IOSH.

Candidates with relevant experience who are at GradIOSH level will also be considered.
