Role: Health & Safety Officer – Manufacturing and Logistics
Location: Regionally based - North
Salary: up to £45000 plus car
Our client is one of the UK’s largest food manufacturers. The Group Health & Safety Team supports the business in matters relating to health and safety providing support across all food processing plants and regional distribution centres in the North of England.
The Role
·Reporting to the Group Health and Safety Director
·Undertake a wide range of duties including:
oAudits
oAccident investigations
oFire safety
oGeneral risk assessments
The Person
·Previous multi-site H&S experience in a food manufacturing environment
·Degree educated or equivalent
·Suitable health and safety qualification such as the NEBOSH Diploma
·IOSH membership
