Succesful organisation requires a Health and Safety Manager to run and deliver Health and Safety provisions across all their UK sites.
Your key remit will be to design and implement a strategy in H&S performance, ensuring that all systems are adequate and maintained in such a way as to identify, evaluate, prevent and control health and safety hazards. You will be the lead contact with vendors in the UK, regulatory agencies and government departments about H&S affairs.
You will also be delivering and maintaining a system for the inspection and audit of H&S performance, as well as developing and implementing H&S training.
The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to degree level in Safety Engineering, Environmental or Industrial Hygiene or a similar discipline with experience and knowledge in a fast paced, environment. You will also have thorough knowledge of European and UK EHS legislation.
