High Care Production Manager

Key Criteria:
The successful candidate will be currently working in a Food Manufacturing business that currently supplies M&S. You will be experienced with the requirments from a manufacturing perspective of supplying M&S. You will be able to demonstrate your abilities in managing and leading a complex, chilled, High Care Department.

The Role:
Leading, and Managing a High Care Production area with an emphasise going forward on Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing principles.
Lead, coach and develop a team of production team leaders - they are committed and experienced but need further input to get them working towards CI.
Meet budget requirements for labour and materials, Deliver 100% customer accuracy, Ensure quality is met within customer expectation, Ensure the health and safety of all employees and visitors, Improve skills of Team Leaders, Implement Business Improvement Plans, Monitor and control absenteeism, sickness, holidays
Identify and facilitate all team training requirements, Anticipate and control the use of overtime and temporary agency requirements, Ensure the team comply with statutory and Company food safety, health and safety policies by means of regular audits, Ensure effective management/compliance with defined product quality and technical standards, Hold daily shift meetings, Ensure effective management cover to reflect production needs, Ensure all finished products are delivered at the specified quality and technical standards.
