Careforce provides domiciliary care (home care) to support people who want to remain living in their own home. In many cases just a little extra help is all that's needed for someone to continue leading an independent and fulfilling life. Our vision was of a country-wide network of local branches providing a flexible, responsive care service for people in the local community. Today we have 55 local operations and employ around 4,500 carers caring for 15,500 service users around the country.
CareForce are currently looking for Care Workers to work in their Windsor branch.
Responsibilities:
To provide a service of care to Service Users to enable them to lead as independent a lifestyle as possible. This Care Service will involve a programme of personal care and household management that is personalized for each Service User in the form of a Care Plan. Care duties will therefore include assisting the Service User with the following activities and in so doing will at all times observe and respect the Service User's dignity, privacy and independence as far as practical:
- Personal Care
- Healthcare – assisting the Service User to take prescribed medication
- Dietary Care
- Domestic / Household Services
- Personal services
You will also be responsible:
- To confirm to all policies and procedures
- To participate in training and personal development
- To maintain accurate, concise and timely records of Service User care, dairy sheets, time sheets and mileage sheets
- To participate in staff, team and quality management review meetings
- To participate in reviews of Sevice User's Care Plans as required
About the Person:
- Good presentation / interpersonal skills
- Ability to write well and legibly
- Be willing to undertake NVQ Level 2
- Be committed to attending all In-Service training
- Tolerant / Patient / Discreet / Sensitive
- Willingness to travel to Service User's homes
- Willing to undertake a CRB check
