Main Function
Renfrewshire Council Social Work Department delivers high quality home care services to people of all ages and with different care needs. We are looking for enthusiastic, committed, motivated and flexible people to become part of our home care team within Paisley, Johnstone and Renfrew Area Teams. We are particularly keen to hear from people who can work in the evenings and/or weekends.
Duties
You will assisti with clients' personal care; Provide domestic and household services, including meal preparation; assist clients to maintain and develop their daily living skills and help clients to develop or maintain their independence.
Additional Information
Experience of caring for others would be an advantage, but more important are a mature outlook and a commitment to helping others.
The hours of service is between 7.00 am and 10.00 pm and shift working is in operation. Contracted hours can range from 8 per week (generally weekend/evening work) to 30 hours per week. Training will be provided for successful applicants. Driving Licence is advantageous.
