Homelessness Officer Jobs are available in a number of our Local Authority & Housing Association clients throughout the North West , particularly in Manchester , Oldham and Bolton
For this role you will be required to provide expert impartial advice on all aspects of housing in order to prevent homelessness in line with current policy and to investigate all homeless applications under current legislation.
You will also be required on a weekly basis to record and maintain homeless decisions, homelessness prevention and housing advice.
This Homelessness Officer role you requires you to have the following:
Experience of working in a housing Association, local authority housing department or similar organisation
Experience with working with the general public including the vulnerable people Experience of negotiating with wide range of organisations
A detailed knowledge of homelessness law and private sector law
Awareness of welfare benefits
