We are one of the largest local authority employers in the Gwent area. Working for a local authority dedicated to recruiting talented and committed staff, to provide the best possible services, we are now looking to recruit a HR Adviser to join our Human Resources Team.
The role:
To provide an advisory and interpretation service to managers and employees on a wide range of employment related issues, promoting best practice and encouraging greater ownership.
Contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategic projects and policies in line with the priorities set out within the People Strategy with particular reference to providing a comprehensive IT and information service for the Division.
Who we're looking for:
Must have evidence of casework
Experience of managing absence and performance
Experience of grievance and discipline
Experience of investigations
Knowledge of changes in Employment Law
Generalist with advisory experience
CIPD qualified
On offer:
This role is to start ASAP until approximately 31st March 2010.
37 hours per week, 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
In return you will get a salary of 12.00 per hour.
