Recent high-profile project wins within their Australian business have facilitated the need to hire a number of high-calibre IBM Websphere Portal Consultants to join them on a permanent basis in Sydney.
The Opportunity:
- You will be involved in a large-scale and high-profile project for a Financial Services customer, working from the Specification stage
- Your role will encompass design/architecture OR development, depending upon your prior experience and track record
Required Background:
- You will be able to demonstrate a solid tertiary education in Commerce or IT, coupled with at least 3 years IBM Websphere Portal experience - your experience can be from an Architectural, Design, or Development perspective
- Your IBM Websphere Portal experience will ideally be up to version 6.1
- Your broader skill set will encompass: J2EE, EJB, Hibernate, Spring and JDBC
- It is expected that you have strong experience with Use Cases and State Diagrams, and preferred if you have some Agile methodology exposure
- Above all, you must exhibit a professional, eloquent and consultative approach, coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
