Brightpool has been advised by a large Local Government organisation in the North - East that they have an imminent requirement for an IFRS Project Accountant who will be leading them through the conversation to IFRS.
The Assignment
Working closely with the finance team and other departments, the IFRS Project Accountant will be heavily involved in project planning through to completion. This will cover planning and training, impact analysis, resource identification, restatement of opening balances, prepare for IFRS budgeting and train non-finance teams, audit committee and budget holders.
Candidate
The successful applicant must have IFRS transition experience within a public sector environment, and must have first class people skills, as getting ‘buy in’ from colleagues is critical to the project running successfully.If you feel you have the right level of IFRS experience at the level described above, then please get in touch at the earliest opportunity.
