Our client is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner company based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire and they are looking for an experienced sales manager to join their friendly team.
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful IT Business Development Manager to fully achieve their earning potential and progress their career within a successful and forward thinking company.
The Business Development Manager will be mainly responsible for organising and leading the sales team to meet the time bound sales targets to sell the Company's products and services and for regularly monitoring and reviewing the performance of the sales team.
Other key responsibilities:
·Good understanding about the Company and its products and services as may require to deal with major customers
·Developing a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of sales targets
·Preparing action plans by individuals as well as by sales team for effective search of sales leads and prospects
·Understanding the activities of competitors and potential collaborators to understand the potential business opportunities and threats
·Responsible for the performance and development of the sales team
·Motivating and driving the sales team to reach time bound targets
·Providing management information statistics to senior management regarding performance
·Compiling and analysing sales figures and suggesting corrective measures and action plans
Key skills include:

·Motivation, enthusiasm and be able to work on own initiative
·Good planning and organisational skills
·Ability to work calmly under pressure
To be considered for this position, you must be able to demonstrate a previous track record within a similar role with an excellent record of managing a team and achieving targets.
