Job Description : 
This role is responsible for all administrative functions relevant to the IT department supporting all the PPD employees at all EMEA locations. 
Duties will include the following:
  • Tracking of Licenses, Servers, Printers and Care packs and ensuring all equipment has a Care pack where necessary and that these are renewed appropriately
  • Responsible for the administration department's helpdesk tickets and Emac forms, ensuring they are dealt with efficiently and in the most appropriate manner
  • Purchasing, tracking and managing equipment, stock, software and licenses for the department, including taking responsibility for following the orders through to delivery
  • Raising of IT department's paperwork and tracking approval in accordance with department and company processes
  • Responsibility for IT billing to ensure accuracy and for acting as the point on contact for IT charges and billing
  • Liaising with the IT Director, Associate Directors and Managers of departments within IT, to ensure their department administrative needs are met
  • Working with suppliers to build and maintain good working relationships
  • Dealing with delivery and supply queries as these arise
  • General departmental duties maintaining accurate records, faxes, filing, photocopying, stationery ordering
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:

Applicants should also possess:
  • English and Maths GCSEs or equivalent
  • Experience of working within a busy administrative function
  • Experience of daily supplier interaction
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience working within a team and using initiative as appropriate
  • Experience dealing with the demands and processes of a large organisation
