IT PUBLIC SECTOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER / PUBLIC SECTOR ACCOUNT MANAGER / PUBLIC SECTOR CLIENTS / PUBLIC SECTOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
£55-60,000 + Uncapped OTE (circa £100-120,000) / Car / Pension / Healthcare / Benefits
Our client is a leading Blue Chip based organisation leader within the IT industry currently looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to work the UK operations within the Public Sector marketplace.
The role holder is responsible for predominantly New Business Sales & Existing Customer Development selling Products & Services within Accounts across the Public Sector markets of the UK.
Key Responsibilities would include:
- Responsible for Identifying, Developing & Closing Significant Sales from a Target List of Customers through sustained Prospecting & Activity.
- Create & Implement Account Strategies to develop full business potential of a Portfolio of existing Public Sector Customer Accounts.
- Maintain & Agree a strong Business Account Plan, Forecast & Reporting Framework.
- Develop Close Relationships at all levels & understand the Business, Buying & Decision-making Process of the Accounts.
- Front all Negotiations & Tender Submissions and Facilitate & Manage Communications to the highest professional standards.
- Work with the Bid Management Team to identify Major Revenue opportunities and assist in the successful outcome of the Bid Process as required.
- Understand & Sell the whole Product Portfolio, including Voice, Data and New Customer Solutions as introduced.
Skills & Experience required:·
- At least 4 years’ highly successful Direct Sales experience in IT within Public Sector Accounts.
- Proven Track Record of Driving & Delivering New Business Development & Account Management of New & Existing Corporate / Public Sector Business Accounts.
- Proven ability to Develop & Maintain an Effective Network of Contacts & Build Relationships at all levels of a Multi-National organisation and externally.
- Broad Commercial & Financial acumen
- A Team player able to work and support colleagues across a multinational organisation.
