Due to growth based on client demand we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Belfast.

Role / Opportunity

  • You will be responsible for delivery of a high quality service within our IT Consultancy Division.
  • Experience of recruiting permanent high end candidates in other sectors such as Engineering or Construction related activities would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Central to this role is making first contact with prospective candidates, explaining current opportunities, securing appointments and obtaining referrals.
  • You will liaise with clients to obtain comprehensive brief of roles and ideal candidate profiles for permanent or contract staff.
  • You will provide effective and innovative promotion of Wellington's Consultancy services.
  • You will have an ability to build and maintain knowledge of the various marketplace verticals.
  • Ensure Client and Candidate satisfaction.
  • Promote the Wellington name through managing a quality service to Clients and Candidates.
  • Identify and lead new business opportunities.
  • Meet new and existing Clients, ascertaining current and future needs.
  • Maintain an excellent working knowledge of competitor activities and trends.
  • Use client and candidates channels of choice to communicate including social media.

Skills / Experience

  • 3rd Level Qualification is desirable, but not essential. More importantly is a demonstrable proactive can do positive attitude and the ability to inspire and motivate other team members.
  • Driven to succeed and to be best in class Proven sales acumen.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop business contacts and engage with a wide range of clients and prospects.
